Draft Details
The draft is 5 rounds. Rosters will temporarily be expanded to 41 so you can draft and then demote rookies to your taxi squad if you have a full roster. Each team can trade anytime during the draft and will have 3 hours to make a selection. If you don’t make a selection within the 3 hours a pick will be auto drafted for you. If you miss 1 pick you will automatically be placed on auto draft and will need to contact commissioner to be removed. The draft timer will end at 12:00AM ET and start at 10:00AM ET the following day.
You can find the draft order/results under League Menu > Reports > League > Draft Results
Compensatory Draft Picks
Each year compensatory picks will be awarded to the 10 teams that do not make the playoffs the previous season. Picks 1.01-1.05 will be awarded to the 5 of 10 teams with the worst total potential points for the regular season, and picks 2.01-2.05 will be awarded to the remaining 5 of 10 teams with the least potential points. 1st Round Compensatory picks can only be traded exactly 1 week prior to the commencement of the rookie draft
Trading Compensatory Draft Picks
1st round compensatory picks can only be traded exactly 1 week prior to the start of the rookie draft.
Please remember if a 1st Round compensatory pick is traded prior to the trade window, it must be reversed within 1 hour. And by that, it must be completely reversed, not just the pick traded back. The teams may then do a valid trade if they so wish. Note that it is NOT an excuse if both teams are not around to reverse the pick. Therefore, both teams should be EXTRA careful to ensure that no picks that are compensatory are included. These would be 1.01-1.05.
If the trade is not reversed within 1 hour, the penalty shall be that the compensatory pick is forfeited. Additionally, the other team will lose a pick in that round as well, should they have it. And if not, then they shall lose that round pick in the following year. If neither of those options are available, the commissioners will select a set of picks that they believe are equal in value, at their sole discretion. Therefore, please DO NOT offer or accept any trade with 1st Round compensatory picks in it.
Taxi Squad
Players may only be placed on the DTS if they were either initially drafted in the rookie draft or were selected in the supplemental draft and maintain DTS eligibility. Each franchise gets 8 taxi squad spots. The closure of the DTS will always be detailed on the MFL League Calendar. Once this date has passed, no more demotions to the DTS will be allowed until the following year's drafts begin. If time on the DTS has expired, any players who based on this rule who are no longer eligible for the DTS must be placed on the team's active roster or waived.
•Players on the DTS are not eligible to start a game until they are moved onto the active roster.
•Only a rookie in his rookie year can be placed on your DTS, not a 2nd year player who was never on any other roster previously.
•Traded players may be placed on the DTS if they were on the other teams DTS when the trade took place, demotion must be done within 24 hours of the trade.
•Once a player is activated from the DTS to the active roster, he is ineligible to return to the DTS. This includes if the player is traded to another franchise or waived and subsequently picked up by another team owner.
•Once a player on your taxi squad reaches 150+ pts he MUST be promoted immediately or the commissioner will promote him and drop a player for you if you have a full roster.
If an invalid player is placed on the DTS, the following process will be followed:
1) Upon infraction, the commissioner will move the invalid player back to the active roster.
2) If the maximum active roster limit is exceeded, the owner has 24 hours to make a cut of their choice and bring their roster back to the legal active roster limit.
3) If no cut is made, the invalid player will be dropped by commissioner.
Supplemental Draft
The purpose of this draft is to fill out rosters for the leagues teams. Supplement draft order is the same as the base rookie draft criteria. Your roster will again temporarily be expanded to 41 for the duration of the draft to be able to draft and demote rookies to the taxi squad. This draft is up to 5 rounds and you will have 3 hours to pick between NFL rookies and NFL veterans. If the 3 hour timer expires your picks will be skipped for the remainder of the draft. SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT PICKS CANNOT BE TRADED!
Roster cuts must be made 12 hours prior to the start of the supplement draft as the commissioner will turn off dropping abilities until after the draft. If you have 41 players when the draft starts or ends the last player you drafted will be dropped.
•If your roster and taxi squad is full you CANNOT participate in this draft.
•If you wish to opt out of this draft please post comment and state so.
•In order to have picks for the supplement draft you must have the available roster space. You will get as many picks as you have roster/taxi spots (up to 5).
•If your roster is already full but have taxi squad spots open you can only draft and then demote rookies, again only rookies can be drafted if you have a 40 man roster. If a non-rookie is drafted then he will be dropped immediately.
•If you have any questions please post below incase other owners have the same question I can answer them at once
**NO TRADING OF SUPPLEMENT DRAFT PICKS IS ALLOWED.**

Injured Reserved
a) Each team will have 4 injury reserve positions on their rosters.

b) Players declared to be on injured reserve by the official NFL injury report and Myfantasyleague. com (MFL) injury designations can fill these positions.

c) Players must remain on the injured reserve list for the remainder of the current fantasy season. The only exception to this is a scenario where a player is released from Injured Reserve and the MFL IR designation is lifted. In this case, the player cannot remain on IR. To align with what is happening in the NFL, the fantasy team owner must either activate the player or cut the player since he no longer has an IR designation. This is the only scenario where as commissioners we would allow an IR player to be activated since he is no longer eligible for IR.
d) Trading of players placed on the injured reserve list is allowed.

e) Owners can place players on injured reserve at any time during the current season. To move a player to injured reserve, the owner must use the leagues website to process the transaction.

f) Once a player is on the injured reserve list, the team may acquire a free agent to fill the empty spot on the main roster (in accordance with acquisition rules).

g) All players must be removed from IR by March 1st by either being placed on the active roster or waived by the team owner. All players not activated from IR by 1st March will be returned to the free agent pool by the commissioner.
Tie Breakers:
The tie breakers across all our leagues are quite simple and are the same for waiver wire order, regular season standings & playoff births.

#1: Overall Winning Percentage
#2: Total Points Scored
#3: Head-To-Head Record (only splits a tie between 2 teams, will be skipped if 3 or more teams)

Regular Season Game Tie Breakers - Tie games will be scored as ties.
Playoff Game Tie Breakers - Unlike the regular season the playoff games cannot end in a tie. If a Playoff games does end in a tie, the following tie breakers will be used to declare the winner:
#1: Most Total Yards (Rushing + Passing + Receiving)
#2: Most Total Touchdowns (Rushing + Passing + Receiving +IDP’s TD’s)
#3: Longest Touchdown
#4: Most Field Goals
#5: Longest Field Goal
#6: Most Safeties

Superbowl Tie Breakers - Tie games will be decided by the Tie Breakers used for Playoff Games. If game is still tied, the game will be awarded to the highest seeded team.

Non Playoff team final standings - For the determination of draft order, all non-playoff teams at year end, will be sorted according to "potential points" which is the total points that would have been scored if a team set the optimal lineup each week. The lowest total Potential Points (PP), will be awarded the first draft position, and so one, through all of the non-playoff teams. The above listed tie breakers would be utilsed if 2 or more teams finished with equal potential points.
Division Realignment
Division realignment occurs each season on a promotion and relegation basis to assist in league parity. Each new season, divisions are realigned based on last years standings using the same rules applied to determine rookie draft order. Playoff teams will be based on the previous years finishing position in the league standings with the exception of the winner and loser of the league championship, they will be determined as the number 1 and 2 teams. Non playoff teams will be determined by Potential Points. You will play division opponents twice each year.
The top 4 teams end up in the NFL Division , teams 5-8 in the CFL Division , teams 9-12 in the XFL Division , teams 13-16 in the AFL Division.
